Real Madrid have set aside £268 million for the signing of Harry Kane and the Spaniards are ready to move for him in the very next transfer window.
Kane cemented his reputation as one of Europe’s top attackers when he outscored every other striker including Messi and C. Ronaldo to become the highest goal scorer of 2017.
He also did impress with a goal as Tottenham became the first team to score Juventus after 11 games in their Champions League 2-2 on Tuesday.
He has been attracting the interest of Madrid for the past two seasons, but he has chosen to remain committed to Spurs.
However, with Tottenham, not winning trophies, it is becoming clearer that he would have to leave them if he wants to win trophies in his career.
Sun Sport is reporting that Real Madrid are prepared to spend about £500 million in the transfer market next summer, and Kane’s transfer would take more than half of that outlay.
Los Merengues wants him to become their leading attacker from next season as Karim Benzema seems to be at the end of his career. They also want to sign Dele Ali as well as Mauricio Pochettino, but Kane is their priority signing.
