Per reports by Voetbal International, Georges Mikautadze might be leaving Ajax in January.
Ajax spent €16 million to sign the Georgian striker in the summer from Metz, but he has barely featured so far in Amsterdam.
Ajax players; Brian Brobbey and Chuba Akpom are ahead of Mikautadze in the pecking order and he has been played out of position on the wing. In 248 minutes, the forward has not yet delivered a goal or assist.
Now Voetbal International reports that FC Metz hopes to bring back Mikautadze to the club in January on a loan. It is left to be answered if Ajax would be happy to let him leave the club.
