Future Real Madrid prospect Endrick Felipe is only 17 years old, almost a year from when he was signed by Los Blancos, and the Spanish outfit hopes that he overcomes most of his growing challenges at Palmerias this season before he joins Madrid.
Earlier this campaign, Felipe had a hard time getting noticed by the media, which lead manager Abel Ferreira to assign him to the bench for some time. Since then, he has come back to form after admitting as much publicly. But on Sunday night, Endrick reminded fans that he is still figuring out how to be a professional football player.
Endrick was doing well against Fortaleza, but the North-East of Brazil side were a goal into the second half. Eventually, they drew 2-2 when Gustavo Gomez was sent off the pitch, but were fortunate to escape a second sacking after Felipe lost his temper and abruptly punched Titi.
Luckily for Endrick the refree did not punish him, and he will learn his lesson without his team suffering the repercautions, and the subsequent pressure it entails. There is no doub that Ferreira will give him a referesher course on how to keep his composure, something that is imperative especially with the world and Real Madrid watching him.
