But despite all the disappointment of losing out on the title on the final day, Bellingham has won a consolation prize by winning the Bundesliga Player of the Year Award.
The English teenager enjoyed a stellar campaign with Dortmund, as he scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 42 matches.
He’s been linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly leading the chase for his signature.
