Jackson Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, refused to speak with members of the press as he left jail Wednesday afternoon, maintaining a stoic expression as he walked to a car.
Jackson who is the little brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was arrested for aggravated sexual battery on Wednesday, in relation to an alleged incident at a Kansas restaurant in February.

He was booked at 7:45 AM and bail was set at $100,000. Court records show he was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery. He was also charged with one count of misdemeanour battery.
Mahomes was accused of sexually and physically assaulting the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge when the older woman claimed he tried to kiss her forcibly multiple times.
The owner alleges that Jackson was intoxicated early in the night and he shoved a male member of her wait staff.
Aggravated sexual battery in Kansas can carry up to a 55-month sentence if the offender is convicted.
Briefly after the alleged offence, his attorney, Brandan Davies, maintained that Jackson Mahomes did nothing wrong.
“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
The incident seemed to have been caught on surveillance video and is being investigated by the police since March.
Jackson often documents his life on the internet but has been laying low for several weeks following the allegations. But he has come back to social media and attended the NFL Draft in Kansas City last week with Patrick Mahomes.

This is not the first time Jackson Mahomes has been tied to controversy. He faced backlash for dumping water on Baltimore Ravens fans at a match in 2021 and doing a TikTok dance over Washington’s field memorial for late NFL star Sean Taylor a few weeks later. In 2022 he was also recorded grabbing a woman’s face.
