PSG are on the verge of giving their manager, Unai Emery the sack after a series of poor results recently.
The Spaniard was made manager of the Ligue 1 leaders last season primarily to help bring the elusive European glory to the Paris, but he has failed to do that in his single full season in charge, and two defeats in as many games has left them exposed also this season.
Neymar and Co. lost their last league game 2-1 to newly promoted Strasbourg over the weekend, and then fell to another 3-1 defeat at Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Reports from France is claiming that their 3-1 loss infuriated the club’s president and he does not believe Emery can bring the European trophy he signed him to bring.
Per the reports, the club has already drawn up a list of candidates that could replace him.
Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique head the list which includes, Atleti’s Diego Simeone, Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.
But the French publication puts Enrique as favourites as the former Barcelona manager is currently free.
Enrique won five trophies in his first two seasons with Barcelona, before masterminding a shock comeback win against PSG last season.
