Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is confident that he can land Tottenham left back Danny Rose, this January or next summer.
The Portuguese manager is a keen admirer of the England left back, and that position seem to be his team’s problem spot.
Ashley young has performed well for the Red Devils as an attacking left back this season, but Mourinho wants a natural left back to take up that position.
Luke Shaw who is the natural owner of that position has failed to live up to his early promise and looks set to be offloaded sooner rather than later.
Matteo Darmian was Mourinho’s first choice left back initially, but the Italian has fallen behind Young in the perking.
While the duo of Marcos Rojo, and Daley Blind could also deputise in that position, Mourinho is keen to have specialists in every position on his team.
Rose could have joined the Red Devils last summer, but he was injured and has only returned to first team action.
At 27, Rose feels he is worth more than he is paid at the moment Tottenham, and voiced his displeasure earlier this season in an explosive interview with The Sun.
According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils would bid £50 million for Rose.
