Manchester City have become the latest team to show an interest in signing Fulham’s youngster, Ryan Sessegnon as the 17 years old continues to shine in the Championship.
Sessegnon broke unto the scene as a 16 years old last season and had plenty admirers, but Fulham were able to convince him that remaining with them was the best option for his career and he signed a professional deal with them. He has gone on to show this season that he is not a one-season wonder and has already reached double figures for goals.
His form has attracted the interest of Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid, but Sun Sport is claiming that Manchester City have become the latest team to show interest in his signature and they hope to steal him from under the noses of their rivals.
He is set to cost his potential new employers at least £40 million, and Fulham do not need to sell. But if they fail to gain promotion to the Premier League at the end of this season, it would be difficult to convince Sessegnon to remain with them.
