Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 has revealed that Bayern Munich once tried to lure him to Germany during his early career at AS Monaco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to Bild<\/em>, the Real Madrid<\/a> superstar admitted he held talks with multiple Bundesliga clubs before opting for a different path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMany clubs approached me. Bayern came to me when I was a bit younger and could leave Monaco,\u201d Mbapp\u00e9 said. \u201cBorussia Dortmund<\/a> and RB Leipzig<\/a>  also made enquiries. And those are just the three clubs I remember. Maybe there were others, but I don\u2019t remember.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 26-year-old laughed as he reflected on the missed opportunity: \u201cEveryone\u2019s asking now, but it\u2019s a bit too late.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbappe<\/a> joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Monaco in 2017 before completing a \u20ac180 million permanent move the following year.
