Jamal Murray hurt his elbow when he crashed into a Rudy Gobert screen and shot only 4-for-18, ending with 10 points in a 115-70 blowout to the Minnesota Timberwolves <\/a>at Target Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a two-day break before Game 7, Murray is uncertain if his elbow will feel better by then. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I hope, for our team’s sake,” Murray said. “I hope I can get it right.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He missed nine of his first 10 shots. Jamal was asked if the elbow loosened up and felt better as the match progressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Clearly it did not,” Murray said with a laugh. “I put some numbing cream on it just so I didn’t have to feel it every time it extended. But everybody gets hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So it was the fact that I was shooting the ball. That’s what I do most. So I was never really getting into my rhythm again. And my team obviously needed me tonight, and I didn’t. So I’m disappointed in myself for not being able to give them the right production that I know I can.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Murray has been wounded this postseason, He is already nursing a strain in his left calf that he suffered in the first round against the Los Angeles Lakers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denver needs Murray to be in top shape for Game 7. He averages 19.7 points on 50% shooting, including 42% on 3-pointers, in the Nuggets three wins this series. In the three defeats, Murray is averaging 11.6 points and 26% shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
