Chelsea are reportedly close to hiring former player Frank Lampard as caretaker manager until the end of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report by Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via 90mjn, the Blues are close to reaching an agreement with the Chelsea legend, with the final details currently being finalised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lampard has previously managed and played for the club, making 648 appearances and scoring 211 goals during his career at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
