Manchester City star Fabian Delph has become a major target for Turkish Super Lig side, Besiktas ahead of the end of the European transfer window.
The World Cup star has fallen down the pecking order and the Turkish side are said to be prepared to offer him a way out of his misery.
Last season he would have been sold, but an injury to Benjamin Mendy forced Pep Guardiola to convert him into a left back for much of the season.
However, Mendy is now fully fit and that has reduced the prospect of Delph getting a chance in the first team.
Reports on Sun Sport claims that the former Aston Villa man has been discussed by the president of the two clubs and the Turks hope that he can be convinced with the promise of more playing time to make the switch to Turkey.
Delph played his way into England’s squad for the last World Cup and he would be given no further consideration if he doesn’t play enough first-team football.
