Arsenal have not given up on signing Sevilla’s Ever Banega despite failing in their efforts to sign him last summer.
Banega worked with Unai Emery at Valencia and joined the Spaniard when he was named the manager of Sevilla where they won repeated Europa League titles together.
The 30 years old was approached by the Gunners in the summer, but he decided to remain with the Spanish giants, however, the Gunners remain keen on reuniting him with Emery.
Emery has started the season brightly after securing 3 wins from 5 games and also helping the Gunners to climb up the league table to 7th position.
The Gunners start the Europa League campaign this week and they would be hoping that Emery’s winning plans with Sevilla would help them win the competition as well and qualify for the Champions League without needing to finish inside the Premier League top four.
Banega’s current release clause stands at 18 million pound, a fee that shouldn’t be too much for the Gunners to pay.
Alvaro Morata could be set to make a shock move across London to West Ham in the next transfer window as he had failed to ignite the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
The attacker scored 11 times last season and started this season well by scoring a goal against Arsenal, but the goals have since dried up and he has fallen behind Olivier Giroud in the pecking order.
He has been frustrated by the spotlight shining on him after he made the 58 million move from Real Madrid to Stamford Bridge last summer, and he could be set to switch clubs temporarily.
TalkSport claims that a move to West Ham is on the cards and he could join the Hammers in the January transfer window.
It appears that Morata may not fancy a move to a relegation-threatened club, however, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing him temporarily.
Inter Milan may have gotten their first Champions League win of the season by beating Tottenham, however, they still want to take the Lilywhites apart in the transfer market.
Reports in Italy claim that Inter are plotting to sign Serge Aurier next summer after watching him impress against them on Tuesday night.
The Ivorian moved to Tottenham from PSG last summer and has continued to impress for Mauricio Pochettino’s side after an impressive maiden season.
He started as Inter came from a goal down to beat Spurs 2-1 on Champions League matchday 1. As a matter of fact, he was at fault for Inter’s second goal as he failed to track his man from the corner who then headed in the winner.
Despite that, the Italians believed they have seen enough to suggest to them that Aurier would be a good fit for them in the Serie A and in Europe.
Aurier is currently the second choice behind Kieran Trippier at Wembley Stadium and could ask for a move if he is guaranteed more playing time at the San Siro.

Liverpool is set to face PSG on Tuesday 18th September at Anfield and we have good reason to believe that Liverpool will come out on top. However, as sure as you are when placing sports betting wagers, the beauty of sport is that it’s unpredictable and there is no such thing as a guaranteed win. As such, it absolutely imperative that you only place well-informed bets and the only way to become well-informed is to do plenty of research. That’s why we’ve put together this match preview, complete with predictions and top betting tips for the Liverpool vs PSG match.
Liverpool is Match Favourite
Liverpool has had a strong start to the season and the home field advantage in their upcoming match against PSG cannot be discounted. As 5 from 5 in the league, Liverpool has scored 11 goals in total thus far proving that their 3 top goal scorers aren’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. There has also been a major improvement at the back of the squad with 2 concedes and signing keeper Allison Becker may have been the best decision made in a long time. However, we shouldn’t forget about Virgil van Dijk either as he is finally showing us why he was ultimately signed to the Liverpool team with impressive displays on the field.
Weakened PSG Squad
Irrespective of the recent additions to the Liverpool team, they are undoubtedly stronger than the current PSG team who were recently forced to let a few players go – which left the NZ Sports Betting lines spinning – as a result of the UEFA Financial Fair Play Rules. The Financial Fair Play Rules were put in place by UEFA to prevent professional football clubs from spending more than they earn in the pursuit of excellence and PSG are the most recent team to fall under the hammer. However, we still expect PSG to get at least one goal in, as they have after all scored at least 3 goals in each of their 6 matches this season so far.
PSG’s ‘Terrifying Three’
Despite the home field advantage and a weakened team, Liverpool will still have to contend with PSG’s ‘Terrifying Three’ in the form of Neymar, Edinson Cavani, and Kylian Mbappe. With regards to which of the 3 to back for a goal scorer wager, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have both scored 4 goals this season, while Edinson Cavani has scored 3. While it may be tight race between these 3 powerhouses, Mbappe is certainly the favourite according to the odds on offer.
Top Soccer Betting Tips
Liverpool may be the strong favourite accordingly to the odds currently on offer, but it’s important to remember that sports betting is made exhilarating owing to the unpredictability of every match. As such, it’s important to keep our top soccer betting tips in mind when placing your wagers.

You shouldn’t place a wager if it’s not a well-informed one and if you’re still undecided on which way this match will go, keep reading for our match preview, predictions, and top soccer betting tips.
Inter Milan in Strong Contention
At first glance it may seem as if Inter Milan is a shoe-in to take the match against Tottenham. Opta, the international sports analytics company, has revealed that the last 4 times these teams battled, Inter Milan took the match with ease on their home soil. Additionally, Tottenham have historically found going up against Italians to be a bit of a challenge. Of their last 9 games on Italian territory, they’ve taken just a single match, however it was their last one. With that in mind, Inter Milan have had a poor start to the season thus far with just 4 points from 4 games, which must of course be taken into consideration along with the historical statistics.
Previous Goal Records Per Side
Considering the historical statistics and current playing behaviours, it may be a better idea to focus on the goals scored by both teams in their previous match-ups. Of their last 4 matches – which all set online betting NZ ablaze – Inter Milan took 2 wins at 4-1 and 4-3 respectively, while Tottenham took 2 wins at 3-0 and 3-1. Additionally, of the 5 Premier League matches played by Tottenham so far this season, they have gone over 2.5 goals every time. As such, it may be a good idea to go for an over/under wager at 3.5.
Inter Milan’s Goal Scoring Superstars
Historically speaking, home field advantage cannot be discounted and we are expecting to see plenty of goals. If Inter Milan is indeed set to take this match-up, which of their players can we expect to bring the glory home? While Harry Kane takes a humble 3rd place amongst the favourite predictions, Mauro Icardi is enjoying plenty of betting action as the 2nd favourite. Of his 39 games played last season, Icardi took 29 goals, but he hasn’t scored in the last 3 league games and an international appearance and isn’t looking 100% fit. As such, we have high hopes for current favourite Ivan Perisic who scored against both England and France in the World Cup semi- and final respectively and has since kept his momentum going.
Top Soccer Betting Tips
If you’re hoping for soccer betting success, it’s of utmost importance that you keep the following tips in the forefront of your mind at all times.
The questions we are all asking now is; Can Real Madrid win the Champions League for the fourth consecutive time without Cristiano Ronaldo?
Despite having a quiet transfer window over the summer, Los Blancos would still be looking to win this competition for the 4th consecutive time. The loss of Cristiano Ronaldo means they would enter this season’s competition without the attacker who has netted the most goals in the competition for the past six seasons.
The host play the only other strong team in the group, Roma, as they both look to top the group ahead of Viktoria Plzen and CSKA Moscow, making this game the biggest game of the group.
A domestic double is Real Madrid’s target this season, and they have dropped just two points so far to keep themselves close to rivals and defending champions Barcelona in the race for the La Liga which they last won in 2017.
AS Roma were closed to reaching the finals last season after eliminating Barcelona in the quarterfinals, however, Liverpool proved too much for them after a 5-2 first leg loss at Anfield. They would be looking to go further this year, but they haven’t started their domestic season in the best possible way.
The Italians have lost their last four away Champions League games and they come into this game after failing to win any of their last 3 Serie A games, so it doesn’t look good for them. They have also conceded 7 times in their last three league games.
This will be the 11th encounter between Real Madrid and Roma in the Champions League, with Real holding the upper hand so far (6 wins to 3, 1 draw).

Manchester City enter this season’s Champions League as favourites again after they swept aside all oppositions in the Premier League and broke all sorts of records last season.
Liverpool were the team that stopped them from getting past the quarterfinal stage last season, but after winning five of six group games the last time out, their fans would be expecting them to easily top this group again.
Pep Guardiola’s team haven’t really kicked into top gear this season. They were held by Wolves to a 1-1 draw before the international break and failed to sparkle in their 2-1 win over Newcastle, however, their 3-0 win over Fulham before this game would have boosted their morale well enough to get them a win.
Lyon come back into this competition after a two-year absence, and they would be looking to get out of this group alongside Manchester City.
The French men won two of six group games the last time out, and the way they have started their domestic campaign does not give Manchester City any reason to fear.
They drew with Caen at the weekend to make it two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five league games. Keeping Nabil Fekir beyond last season was a good piece of business, and they would be hoping he can build on his impressive performances last season.
This is the first time these teams are meeting before now.
